If you want to use the crayon for cosmetic purposes, go for, but I doubt whether it would work to seal water out of the cracks for more than a very short period of time. I see your options as this: 1. leave as is and enjoy boat regardless of minor spider cracks. 2. repair cracks by your self for under $50. 3. pay someone else to do it for you for over $500.
