I will say this about The Priory of the Orange Tree: it may be long, but it is worth the hype.The world-building is extensive, somewhere between Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse … WebbI appreciate the way it plays around with classic tropes and the fact it has queer characters without it being a big deal (i.e. it's not a book about queerness, it's a classic high fantasy where queer people exist because they do), but other than that it didn't left me with much.
